Dublin Real Estate – 2/29/08 Update
Well, don’t let the numbers fool you. While the average sale price did drop quite a bit for the week-ended 2/29/08, the decrease was entirely due to a larger proportion of below-market-rate homes relative to market rate homes (3 BMRs out of 6 total). If we exclude the BMR homes, the average sale price actually increased by 3%. Another positive note is that Elan sold another 4 homes this past week. Elan’s success seems to indicate that there is strong demand for living in a transit village. This could be a sign of more good things to come once the East and West Dublin transit villages are fully developed.
