The Groves (in the Dublin Ranch Villages on Keegan Street) is an example of a new breed of development in Dublin that mixes office/retail with residential in a mixed-use format w/ office/retail on the first floor and housing on the floors above. Tralee at Dublin Blvd. and Dougherty in another example of this new development option.

According to the property manager at the Groves, Valley Care (of Pleasanton) has leased 2,000 s.f. of the office/retail space that faces Keegan Street for an urgent care medical facility. There hasn’t been an indication as to when this facility will be opened…but it’s great to know that this is in the works for residents.

There is also a rumor that a coffee shop will eventually be opened at The Groves…however, as of this moment, there are no plans to open a coffee shop. The main barrier to opening a coffee shop at this point is that there would not be enough parking for customers. However, the owners of this property seem motivated to open a coffee shop…so anything is possible.
