Dublin Real Estate – 5/2/08 Update
Wow! Dublin had 16 home sales for the week-ended 5/2/08. The average home sale price dipped a bit to a touch under $500K. However, this was due to the abundance of new townhomes and condos sold at Elan and the Willows. Here is the sales tally for the week-ended 5/2/08:
- The Willows – 2 sales
- Elan – 9 sales
- Silvera Ranch – 1 sale
- Sonata – 2 sales
- Existing Homes – 2 sales
The trend that we’ve seen over the past few months is that homes close to BART and/or the freeway have sold quite well. Please click here for a news article about how homes in the exurbs (e.g., Tracy, Stockton, Modesto) aren’t faring too well, while homes that offer shorter commutes and/or quick access to public transportation and the freeways have been selling well. The good news is that Dublin has two BART stations (one in the East and one that will be opening in the West), is within a few miles of Hacienda and Bishop Ranch business parks, and is located at the I-580 and I-680 crossroads.
