by John M. Zukoski  |  Topics:  Parks · Things To Do

The City of Dublin has designated three parks where it will be okay to use safe and sane fireworks from 10am to 10pm on the 4th of July. Here are the three parks:

  1. Alamo Creek Park
  2. Dublin Sports Grounds
  3. Emerald Glen Park

It is HORRIBLE to do fireworks at these designated spots. I took my son last year and you cant breathe, you cant see and everyone is shoved into a small area. there were people literally 3 feet away from us doing their fireworks as well. It is not safe!

Yeah it could get a bit hairy. Best thing is to not participate, save your money and just watch others light up their hard earned dollars from the safety of the lawn area. It is just as fun and you are away from the heavy smoke and hazard that goes with it.

Well, we're just grateful for the fact that there is a city and a place where you can do your own fireworks. We drive over each year from Tracy since they are not legal here.
