Too bad it is just 300k sf. Looks great but if this was 2 level, 600k sf with subtarrean parking it would wonderful. At 300k sf it is just another Grafton Station, a small Hacienda Crossings.

Maybe if demand is strong enough, an opened ended plan on the West Side could allow Blake Hunt to stretch the center across Arnold all the way to the BART parking structure.

no resemblance whatsoever to Santana Row, which the developers were originally claiming that they’d surpass.

I’d like to echo that. Id say Im somewhat disappointed.

The latest plan for The Green on Park Place looks nice, and Dublin could certainly use an upscale shopping center, but I’m disappointed that the developer appears to have eliminated the large “town green” that was originally proposed to be in the center. There was going to be parking around the green so that it would have the inviting ambience of a town square shopping district instead of a modern outdoor shopping mall. The newest plan looks more like the Stanford Shopping Center (which ain’t bad) than a town square shopping district (which would be even better). And it has no resemblance whatsoever to Santana Row, which the developers were originally claiming that they’d surpass.

Hi Anonymous – the City of Dublin has indicated that the property owner asked Toll Brothers to relocate their trailers and to also clear out the area that they had previously been using.

With that said, it seems like there’s been more work done to smooth out the land and remove some of the larger rocks than would be required to simply “clear the area”. I have a call into the property owner’s broker to see if I can get more details.

This is very exciting. I hope we get some great restaurants at the Green as well. A little of topic, but I’ve noticed that bulldozers have been running all over the future “Promenade” at Dublin Ranch. Any updates on this planned development?
