New City Manager in Dublin

by John M. Zukoski  |  Topics:  Profiles

The fabulous Joni Pattillo has been selected (unanimously) by Dublin’s Mayor and City Council as Dublin’s next City Manager. There were several incredibly strong candidates, but Joni stood out in terms of her overall qualifications, her vision, ability to work with the Council/staff/community, and specifically her knowledge of the issues in Dublin gained over the previous 6 years as Assistant City Manager.

In her previous role as Assistant City Manager, Joni was responsible for managing Dublin’s administrative services, Public Works, Fire Services, and a host of other functions. Joni has also led the annual Dublin Leadership Academy (aka Dublin 101) and Volunteer and Awards Banquet.

Mr. Richard Ambrose left some pretty big shoes for his successor, but I cannot imagine anyone other than Ms. Joni Pattillo as our new City manager. Thank you, John, for the wonderful news.
