I had high hopes that the School Board would come through with how the money will be spent specifically. How was the School Board able to determine we need $99 for 5 years exactly without knowing how that money will be distibuted? Based on the loose language that will appear on the ballot, the money can all go to provide a hefty raise for Superintendent Hanke. I think Dublin, especially the high school-deprived East Dublin, deserves better. I understand the rising cost of food and fuel has hit high-level school administrators as well, but is it fair that we home owners, who are hit equally hard, get it on both ends? It's simple really -- no East Dublin High School, no more tax hikes.

Hi Everyone,
It looks like Dublin will get to decide whether or not to write a blank check to the DUSD (http://www.contracostatimes.com/teens/ci_10119951). I cannot believe Blush gave away all that delicious yogurt. It was so generous of Jon, the owner, to participate. I had two servings of the Blush flavor, and I highly recommend it to every reader here.<br/> It was nice meeting you tonight. I have been a fan of your blog for a while now, and it was good to have you clarify some of my confusion with respect to the different projects (there are so many!) in person. Good luck on the campaign. Thanks again.

Hi John,
Thank you for telling us about the National Night Out event at Bray Commons.
