The Kids Oktoberfest will be held at the Dublin Heritage Center (6600 Donlon Way) this Saturday (10/4) at 2pm. This is a fantastic event that will be lots of fun for the whole family.

At the door you will receive a Teddy Bear, and then you can:

  • Create a costume for your bear
  • Take graveyard tours at 2:30 & 3:15
  • Do the Chicken Dance & Yodel
  • Decorate Pretzels
  • Make an Edelweiss Hat
  • Make a 3D collage
  • Learn a few German words
  • Taste cider and pretzels with an assortment of German dips (mustards, nutella, yogurt, applesauce)
  • Tour the Museum and play in the pioneer playhouse

Here are all the free items that you will receive: parking, museum admission, story time, refreshments and graveyard tours. It is $5 to receive a teddy bear and make crafts.

The Dublin Heritage Center (which is on the Around Dublin “Best of Dublin,CA” list) has creative, educational, affordable, and fun events on the first Saturday of every month. Please contact Elizabeth Isles at 925-452-2100 for additional information about these events.
