I don’t know where your child is on the list, but there is still some chance a class will open at Green. There is always movement of people in and out of Dublin. However, it is just as likely your child will be diverted. Decisions like this are made at the school site level and district policy and procedures are followed. On another note, Green will be built out soon with 2 more classrooms (not portables). All class scheduling plans take this into account.

We are in a tight spot thanks to the state. We are lucky to have the schools open. From what I hear, only one parent with kids showed up and said something, so clearly people realize that we all have to make sacrifices. School Board members serve all of Dublin. This is ridiculous considering we only live 2 blocks from Green. I would much rather see portables go up at Green rather than to have my son be diverted to a school a few miles away. I hope the board will consider reprioritizing the priority list. Why can’t we just move the boundaries now?

2. To change boundaries requires a look at all current boundaries in the district, not just Kolb. So, a district wide analysis will be done.
