The City of Dublin’s Parks and Community Service department is fully committed to providing residents with an slate of family friendly activities for moms, dads, and kids to enjoy. A few upcoming events that will be great for the whole family include:

Father’s Day Picnic at Emerald Glen Park on Sunday, June 21 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Bring dad, grandpa, uncles, cousins, mom and the whole family and celebrate Father’s Day the old-fashioned way…with a picnic in the park, complete with gunny sack races, egg throwing contests, tug-a-war, pie eating contests, some great live music and, of course, ice cold lemonade. The cost is only $2 per person.

3rd Annual Family Camp Out at Alamo Creek Park. It’s time to get out the sleeping bag, tent and flashlights for the 3rd Annual Family Camp Out on July 11-12! Back by popular demand, Alamo Creek Park turns in to Camp Dublin and even though you’re only minutes from home, you’ll feel like you’re miles away. This is a great little mini stay-cation and the perfect way to introduce your kids to camping. The price includes all activities such as games, crafts, a camp fire music, dinner and breakfast, too! Don’t miss this great family event…sign up today, as space is limited to the first 50 families! The cost is $12/person for residents and $14/person for non-residents.

Please call 925-556-4500 for more details and register before space runs out.
