Las Positas’ Dublin Educational Hub Set to Open in Spring 2010
Las Positas College will be opening their Dublin Educational Hub in the spring of 2010 inside the old WaMu building in Downtown Dublin. The Dublin Educational Hub had been set to open in fall 2009. However, Las Positas College would like to take more time to reconfigure the space to accommodate classes.
The Dublin Educational Hub will start off with a 4,000 sq. ft. footprint with the potential for expansion as Las Positas College looks to buy or construct a larger satellite campus in Dublin. Las Positas College may offer general education courses, distance learning opportunities, job retraining courses, or move entire programs for specific fields of study to their Dublin campus. The Dublin campus makes sense from many different perspectives including the ease of access to I-580/680, the future West Dublin BART Station, and the heart of Downtown Dublin. The grand opening of Las Positas College’s satellite campus will be a big win for Dublin.

This will be great for Dublin!!! During commute time Livermore can be a nightmare so I’m sure people will appreciate classes a little closer.
