Community Discount Card

The Fallon Pride Team is selling $10 Community Discount Cards (CDCs) to help provide funding for the Leadership students at Fallon Middle School. The CDCs provide exclusive discounts for 27 Tri-Valley businesses and are valid through 8/31/2010. The $10 discount cards are fantastic because they:

  1. Provide funding for various Fallon Middle School fun and educational activities (100% of the proceeds go to Fallon Middle School);
  2. Support local businesses; and
  3. Provide access to some incredible deals.

Some of the discounts include:

  • Blush Organic Frozen Yogurt – one free topping on any yogurt purchase at a regular price.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings – 10% off a lunchtime purchase of at least $10.
  • Extreme Pizza – FREE PIZZA: buy any indee (personal) pizza at the regular menu price and get the second of equal or lesser value FREE.

The CDC can pay for itself with just one qualifying purchase at Extreme Pizza and a few single-topping organic frozen yogurts at Blush.

Please look for students selling the Community Discount Cards at the Waterford Plaza and Hacienda Crossings shopping centers. Additionally,  please let the Around Dublin Team know if any other schools are selling similar discount cards to raise funds for school activities.

    Don’t forget about these John.

The Script Cards also provide money to our schools. 10% of your purchase.

Go to the site and find your school. Mine is Dublin Elementary.

So if you shop at Safeway. Buy these here and use them to buy your groceries.

CORRECTION: Sorry, I spoke too soon.

Actually Script has you register all your cards loyalty and or debit / credit cards and when you spend on them a percentage of what you spend goes to your school.

    • Participating merchants will make contributions to your chosen group, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered.
    • Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child’s behalf!

Hi Chris – thank you very much for including the information on the Script program. It’s incredible how easy it is for parents and other community members to raise money for students. The Script program doesn’t really cost anything and the potential return is phenomenal. The discount cards also have a huge ROI for schools…and the folks using them.

I know that DHS has a similar discount card, but I haven’t been able to find the information on their website.

      Thx, John Z.
