The Shops at Tralee have signed up plenty of new businesses over the past year. At last count, there were 10 businesses that have opened or plan to open at Tralee in the near future. Here is a complete listing:

  • Extreme Pizza – the Around Dublin favorite for pizza and sandwiches. They have a special offer until 11/15/09 where you can get 1 free 12″ cheese pizza when you purchase any 16-18″ Signature pizza.
  • Yanagi Sushi & Grill – Yanagi has a few other restaurants open in posh areas like Pismo Beach and Paso Robles. Their sushi rolls are amazing and the atmosphere is very hip.
  • Hacienda Cleaners – this will be a perfect shop to have once more folks move into the condos at Tralee.
  • Subway – home of the $5 foot long sandwiches.
  • Deli TBD – Lease Pending
  • Little Home Thai Cuisine
  • Tech Credit Union
  • Dublin Smiles – an Around Dublin “Best of Dublin” establishment.
  • Nothing Bundt Cakes – NBC’s bundt cakes are exquisite – an absolute must have for birthday celebrations.
  • Cut & Beyond – a terrific salon for every member of the family.

The Shops at Tralee still have retail and commercial units available for lease. Earlier this year, the word was that Tralee was offering a free year of rent for all businesses that signed up for long-term leases. Hopefully, they’ll be able to keep businesses moving in during the year ahead.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is amazing – really really good – just one suggestion… walk there because their cakes are so good (meaning rich) you’ll need to walk off the cake after eating.

What’s the word on housing over there? When I was looking at condos several months ago, the Tralee sales office was closed indefinitely. Then there was an apartments-for-rent sign that went up at Dublin/Dougherty with a bad URL. It was up for months before being taken down recently.

Hi Anonymous – I heard that both Tralee and Silvera Ranch were acquired by another developer as part of some financial problems that Pinn Brothers is experiencing. However, I wasn’t able to get any specifics on what’s happening with the condos/apartments at Tralee.

      Thx, John Z.

Any update on the residential portion of Tralee? They seem to be filling up the retail portion, but the apartments and housing look empty and unfinished still? Any news?

Hi Anonymous – I haven’t heard anything on Tralee at this point other than the property may have gone into foreclosure and is now owned by a bank. It is a shame to see the condos and townhomes go unfinished. At a minimum, it seems like the condos could be converted into apartments so that we have folks living at Tralee. With that said, it would be great if they could be sold as condos.

      Thx, John Z.
