This sounds fun, but is kind of pricey, no? I mean you can skate at Squaw Valley or Yosemite for less than $15 in a much more beautiful setting.

Hey why not try out Dublin’s local full service skate rink? This is a year round business that. Gives back to the community on a regular basis not some advertising gimmick. Iceland cost considerable less too! Check out the west end of town ;-)

My first thought was that it seemed expensive too. Then my husband reminded me that it isn’t easy to keep an ice rink going outdoors in this part of California. I’m sure Yosemite is a beautiful backdrop for ice skating, but it also has tons of snow which makes it easier to have an outdoor rink. Also, not everyone can afford the time or money it takes to get to such a beautiful place. And although Dublin Iceland is a great place for kids to learn to skate and do other various skating sports and may be a little cheaper, the temporary outdoor ice rink is something a little different a family can do together. I really appreciate how hard Dublin is trying to become “the place to be”. Keep up the good work!

All things considered, during this tough financial time for most, it is too expensive. Too bad cause I wanted to take my family there.
