Lanna Thai Restaurant in Livermore has redefined the game. Many restaurants suffer from the “Tyranny of the Or” meaning that they think that they need to offer Great Prices or Exquisite Food, Convenience or Incredible Service, Elegant Interior Design or Comfortable Atmosphere.

Lanna Thai has achieved what many have said couldn’t be done by delivering all of the above: great prices, exquisitely prepared food, convenience, incredible service, elegant interior design, and comfortable atmosphere.

As a special offer for Around Dublin readers until November 30, 2009, Lanna Thai will include a free house appetizer and Thai Iced Tea with any meal when you ask for the “Around Dublin Blog Special”.

Lanna Thai’s owner Prakin Gamble was a long-time Dublin resident, buying her first home in America right here in Dublin next to Wells Middle School. Prakin moved to Livermore in the early 2000s and opened Lanna Thai just a few weeks ago in her quest to provide Tri-Valley residents with a whole new experience in Thai cuisine.

The Around Dublin Team had the pleasure of enjoying Lanna Thai’s Kang Massaman and Pad Thai entrees during lunch. The presentation of the Pad Thai was reminiscent of an upscale restaurant in that the dish functioned as a canvas with the food as the subject and the scallions, thin strands of beet, and chili powder sprinklings as the context. The Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango is also a must-have and is the stuff of dreams.

You can find Lanna Thai at the Arroyo Plaza in Livermore (just off the North Livermore Avenue exit) sandwiched in between Baja Fresh and Coldstone Creamery. Please feel free to call 925-443-1101 for more details.
