What Are You Thankful For?

The Around Dublin Team would love to know – “What are you thankful for this year”?

We have so many things to be thankful and grateful for here in Dublin – but what are some of the things that you and your family enjoy most about living in Dublin? Is it our gorgeous parks, improving schools, new businesses, family friendly activities, great location, abundance of retail options, or future development?

How about Dublin’s real estate market where we’ve seen increases in:

  • Median sales prices;
  • The number of new and existing home sales; and
  • The number of offers on newly listed homes?

Please comment on this post or send us an email with your list and we may feature them in our annual Thanksgiving article later this month.

    Access to Bart
Beautiful, spacious Parks and many more in making.
    Easy access to Freeway
Friendly neighbors (specially in newer communities)
Great and variety of places to eat (and more coming soon)
    ………………………………………………………

Would love to see Dublin grow more green in future like its adjacent cities – San Ramon/Pleasenton. Grow more trees!

Would be great to have the much awaited Promenade Shopping complex come soon, with hopefully some great and exquisite places to shop!

May be a well planned beautiful Dublin Downtown- like in Danville or Pleasenton.

    A Wholefoods in Dublin

Would be great to have Yogurtland (like in San Ramon) Though Blush is great, its slightly on expensive side :-)

    A farmer’s market

    An Art and wine festival

Would be great to have free city wide wi-fi! (too much to ask?) :-)

May be more variety of restaurants- For e.g. There are no Ethiopian restaurants (the closest we have is either in Oakland or San Jose)

Thankful for what Dublin has offered to date = great neighbors, but more so for the promise of what Dublin can be . . . While I often disagree with some in terms of the vision, the fact citizens of Dublin care about the future of our community is what I’m most thankful for!
