Named after the tallest mountain range in Afghanistan, Pamir Restaurant recently opened in Dublin’s Ulferts Center and has already established a base of loyal customers that can’t get enough of the nascent restaurant’s unique fare of Afghan (Herati style) and Mediterranean cuisine with delicious pizzas to boot.

Owners Farid and Sherry have lived in Dublin for the past 6 years and they absolutely love the people, families, and wonderful neighbors of Dublin. “Neighbors and customers are always like family. The food has to be the best,” explains Farid. Farid and Sherry chose to open Pamir at the Ulferts Center because of the plaza’s regional draw and the projected population growth in the surrounding area.

Rather than look to open new locations, Farid and Sherry’s near-term vision is to expand the existing Dublin restaurant as their customer base grows. As Farid notes, “It’s better to be one and the best, then two and not be the best.” Wise words that can be applied to other areas of business.

Everybody working at Pamir – from the host/waiter to the owners are extremely friendly and do everything possible to ensure that customers receive the ultimate experience.

Pamir has a signature eggplant dip that will cause you to drool like one of Pavlov’s dogs every time you think about it. They serve it and a vinaigrette with the house bread as a pre-meal treat. However, the eggplant dip is more than a clever sauce – it also goes splendidly as a topping on Pamir’s pizza. Just ask for the “Jimmy Special” to see how the eggplant dip, mozzarella, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes tickle your taste buds and fill your belly.

The chicken kabobs are absolutely mind-boggling – savory, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth exquisite. You may want to try a few combo bites of Pamir’s rice, salad, chutney, and chicken kabob. The flavors are amazing.

Pamir Restaurant in Dublin offers an unparalleled culinary experience. Please stop by Farid and Sherry’s new restaurant the next time you visit the Ulferts Center in Dublin.
