Downtown Dublin Specific Plan Scoping Meeting Notice

California Red-legged Frog
The City of Dublin, CA, will be the Lead Agency and prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Downtown Dublin Specific Plan (PA 07-036). The City has circulated a formal Notice of Preparation (NOP) to public agencies as required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Through the NOP, the City will solicit from these public agencies their views on the scope and content of the environmental information germane to their statutory responsibilities in connection with the Downtown Dublin Specific Plan. To increase public awareness of and participation in the environmental review process, this notice is being circulated to property owners and interested parties in the project area, so their views on the scope and content of the Environmental Impact Report may also be collected.
The project description, location, and the potential environmental effects of the Downtown Dublin Specific Plan are contained in the formal NOP, which is available for review at City Hall. A Scoping Session will be held on February 11, 2010, at 6:00PM in the Regional Meeting Room (Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin, CA 94568). The Scoping Session is part of the EIR process during which the City gathers input from the public and other agencies on specific topics they believe should be addressed in the environmental analysis.
Your input on Downtown Dublin Specific Plan is critical to the success and viability of the project. Residents have until Wednesday, March 3, 2010, to provide comments. Feedback can be submitted to senior planner Erica Fraser at 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin, CA 94568. Ms. Fraser can also be reached by phone at (925) 833-6610 to discuss the project in more detail.

Where has down town been, and where is it planned to be. I have moved out of Dublin and have always wondered where the designated location is. Maybe the brains of the City government could plan on spending some of that cash that the City takes in and buy, or have some one make some down town signs. I have been in and out of the City for over forty years.
