  • Alamo Creek Park
  • Dublin Sports Grounds
  • Emerald Glen Park

The City of Dublin does not allow the use of any fireworks in multi-family housing areas or any other City facilities, schools, and non-designated parks. Please do NOT hesitate to report any non-permitted use of fireworks to Dublin Police Services at (925) 462-1212.

Do all of the proceeds go to the organization listed? I’d like to ensure money from my purchase goes to the specific organization.

Another web site focused on Dublin interviewed people at the various booths, and they tell us what they will spend the proceeds on. With the DUSD budget shortfall, it’s great to see how some schools like Dublin Elementary and DHS will use their funds to buy school supplies and support school programs. But why would Wells Middle School raise money to suppliment a trip to Disneyland? Is their school fiscally sound where they feel that they don’t need to raise money for school supplies?

What do the Fallon, Dougherty, and Green kids get out of the firework sales then?

DPIE manages the booth allocation, so maybe they also get a percentage of the proceeds of each booth. If so, DPIE monies can be distributed to the other schools not hosting a fireworks booth, but there’s no guarantee this will happen.

It’s not just that organization, though. The organizations hosting the booths are providing volunteers to manage it, so there probably weren’t any or enough volunteers from the other schools to host the booth.

Hello – Do you have a list for the 2011 locations for the sale of Safe and Sane fireworks in Dublin? In the past few days a booth was set up in front of the Kentucky Fried Chicken and I don’t think one has been at that location before. Just curious if they are adding more booths this year and where the other ones are.

Also, what date do the fireworks go on sale?

    Thank you!
