San Ramon has NO down town and they do not even have plans for a downtown. There is nothing in San Ramon other than Target... if you live in San Ramon you have to come to Dublin or Pleasanton to "shop". I've Been in Dublin since the 70's and the planning has always been poor but at least we are getting stores, restaurants, and Developers are looking at sites in Dublin. They "want" to be in Dublin Not San Ramon. So As for the "ghetto" reference...??? Maybe you ought to think about the quote; "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". So I do commend Dublin as it moving forward with businesses, schools, and planning. San Ramon is stagnant. At least Dublin has a downtown. The city has poor planning and direction with minimal anchor stores to that end of town and plenty of better cities/land to choose from.
