Pet Food Express is leading the effort to support Bay Area police dogs with the Pet Wash K-9 Fundraiser. Please bring the whole family to the Pet Food Express store at Waterford in Dublin or any other Pet Food Express stores in the Bay Area on July 31st and August 1st and meet a real K-9 team. All proceeds from pet wash tokens purchased during the fundraising weekend will go to the “Cover Your K-9” Fund.

The “Cover Your K-9” Fund provides protective vests for the dogs, heat sensors for the cars, and medical care for on duty or retired police dogs. The fund is available to all greater Bay Area K-9 teams. With all the police department cuts, these special items are simply not affordable to them on their own.

Patrons of Pet Food Express often wash their canine friends when visiting the store, so please consider stocking up on the pet wash tokens on July 31st and August 1st. Extra pet wash tokens also make great gifts. The more people buy, the more Pet Food Express will donate to the police dogs who keep us safe. Monetary donations will also be gratefully accepted by the Bay Area K-9 teams. Last year Pet Food Express raised $71,000 for the K-9 police dogs, and the goal this year is to raise $100,000. Let’s make it happen and help bulletproof all Bay Area K-9 police dogs.
