The Oakland Athletics and Tri-Valley Animal Rescue (TVAR) would like to invite everyone to the “Dog Days of Summer” on Friday, July 23, 2010. This special event will benefit TVAR’s mission to end unnecessary euthanasia of homeless animals. Run entirely by volunteers, TVAR partners with regional shelters to give pets a second chance by placing adoptable animals into homes, providing socialization, offering spay/neuter services, and administering medical care.

“Dog Days of Summer” will be held at the Oakland Coliseum on July 23rd. The Oakland Coliseum is located at 7000 Coliseum Way in Oakland, CA. The schedule of this special event includes:

  • 5:30PM – All U Can Eat Private Tri-Valley Animal Rescue Dinner
  • 7:05PM – Game Time (Oakland A’s vs. Chicago White Sox)

The cost of each ticket is only $50, and it includes an all-inclusive pregame BBQ at the ballpark and great seats for the A’s game in section 129. Dinner will feature hot dogs, burgers, vegetarian protein option, sodas & water, salad, cookies, and more. Dogs will not be allowed in food area and ballpark seats.

The tickets may be ordered online at the TVAR website through PayPal. They may also be ordered by mail. Please send the $50 check, payable to TVAR, to PO Box 11143, Pleasanton, CA 94588.
