Blush Organic Frozen Yogurt is revamping its pricing on Sunday, August 15, 2010 in Dublin, CA. To celebrate the new pricing launch, Blush Organic Frozen Yogurt will have face painting, amazing balloon art by Perry Yan, and a DJ at the Dublin storefront from 1PM-5PM. The new, simpler pricing model was first introduced at Blush Organic Frozen Yogurt’s storefront in Milpitas earlier this month, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Under the new model, all the different flavors will have one price based on the cup size:

  • A small cup will cost $3;
  • A medium cup will cost $4;
  • A large cup will cost $5.

The simplified pricing also extends to the toppings. Toppings are now charged based on the cup size and not the number of toppings selected, so customers can get up to four toppings for each cup size by paying an additional:

  • $1 for a small cup;
  • $1.50 for a medium cup;
  • $1.75 for a large cup.

Blush Organic Frozen Yogurt opened its first store in Dublin at The Shops at Waterford in June 2008. It remains the only frozen yogurt shop to use all-natural and organic ingredients in the Tri-Valley. In a recent article, the Contra Costa Times acknowledged the virtues of Blush by pointing out that its frozen yogurt is made using “natural and organic ingredients, and is lower in sugar and less processed than the popular candy-like flavors filling many Bay Area yogurt shops.”

Since early 2010, Blush Organic Frozen Yogurt has been proudly using the organic milk and yogurt from the world-famous Straus Family Creamery. Straus Family Creamery first started when founder Bill Straus began farming in 1941 with just 23 cows on the beautiful shores of Tomales Bay and the Point Reyes National Seashore, 60 miles north of San Francisco. Inspired by Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring, the Straus Family is deeply committed to environmental sustainability and considers stewardship of the land to be their most important responsibility. In 1994, Straus Family Creamery became the first certified organic dairy west of the Mississippi River, producing milk and dairy products that are organic, great tasting, and healthful. The Straus Family’s European Style butter and European Style yogurts have won gold medals at the Los Angeles County Fair, The American Cheese Society, and the California State Fair. Their butter has been named the Best Butter in America by House & Garden Magazine, and their products have been called “extraordinary” by Martha Stewart.
