East Bay SPCA Bunny Art Show and Adoption Event
East Bay SPCA will be holding an adoption event at its Dublin facility on 4651 Gleason Drive Saturday, August 7th, from 11AM-4PM. Following the adoption event will be the Opening Party for East Bay SPCA’s Bunny Art Show. The event is free and everyone is welcome. The Bunny Art Show will run from August 7th through September 30th at East Bay SPCA. The Bunny Art Show will donate 20% of the proceeds to East Bay SPCA.
Many of the bunnies and rabbits rescued by East Bay SPCA are featured in original artwork by talented children and well-known Bay Area artists. One of the local artists is Shelly Yen, whose portrait of Tisha is featured on the invitation. Tisha is still available for adoption. Another local artist is Kathleen Hil, who has created a beautiful oil painting featuring two of East Bay SPCA’s rabbits. Like Tisha, both rabbit subjects of Hill’s paintings remain available for adoption. Hill has generously donated one of her finished paintings to Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary, one of East Bay SPCA’s sponsors, to support the Sanctuary’s rescue work. Hill’s portraits will be on display at the Bunny Art Show.
