Several streets in Dublin, CA have been selected to receive an asphalt slurry seal. The slurry seal is a low cost surface treatment that saves the City a great deal of money and preserves the existing asphalt on the selected streets. Slurry seal is a liquid oil, crushed aggregate surface treatment that will require three to four hours to dry and be ready for traffic.

Residents who live on the streets selected for the treatment should park their cars on a street not scheduled to be sealed. Cars parked within the posted work area will be towed at the owners’ expense. The oil used in the treatment will stain cars, carpets, and floors, so residents should not travel through the slurry seal before it dries. Residents should refrain from washing cars or watering lawns the day the slurry seal is scheduled.

Why can’t the city of dublin sweep up the mess of slurry ganuals left behind? They make such a mess and end up in our driveways and tracked into out homes.

Hi, I was in town June 2010 visiting family, and I would like to say the roads in Dublin are in great shape. Take it from an expert in the industry. ZW
