Dublin City Hall is seeking applicants for a Human Services Task Force. The ideal Task Force would include members from the faith-based community, community-based service organizations, service clubs, and the Dublin community at-large, especially those who receive or are familiar with social services. The Task Force will have ten to fifteen people.

The Task Force will meet at the Dublin Civic Center, located at 100 Civic Plaza on dates and times to be determined. This Task Force will review the Eastern Alameda County 2011 Human Services Needs Assessment Findings Report and prepare a Task Force Report in the form of a Priority List for the City Council’s consideration.

Dublin City Hall estimates that the Task Force will meet for a total of four, two-hour meetings over a four-month period. Additional meetings may be added if necessary to complete the work within the defined timeframe.

The Mayor makes all appointments, subject to confirmation by the City Council. The Task Force appointees would serve for the entire four month period. Appointments are expected to be made at the March 20th City Council meeting, with the first Task Force meeting convening in April.

Individuals interested in serving on the Human Service Task Force must complete an application form. Forms may also be obtained by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at (925) 833-6650. You may email the application to caroline.soto@dublin.ca.gov or mail it to:

100 Civic Plaza

All applications must be received by the City Clerk’s Office on March 2, 2012 by 5:00PM. Fax or postmarks will not be accepted.
